# Stratego New

The battlefield classic on a full 10×10 field with the two lakes. Enemy ranks stay face-down until battle. Capture the flag to win.

## Crack the front line

Pick one of your green pieces, then attack a face-down coral piece. Higher rank wins, but the Bomb, Spy and Miner bend the rules. Find the Flag before your squad runs out.

## How it works

### Every piece is a secret

Your army plays face-up for you only. Ranks are revealed the moment two pieces fight, and stay revealed after.

### Higher rank wins

From the Marshal (10) down to the Spy (1): the stronger piece takes the square, equal ranks destroy each other.

### Specials bend the rules

Bombs destroy any attacker except the Miner, who defuses them. The Spy beats the Marshal, but only when it strikes first. Scouts run any distance in a straight line.

### Capture the flag

Win by capturing the enemy flag or leaving your opponent without a legal move. Play the full 40-piece classic or a quick 20-piece army.
