# Playing Games: Lobbies, Invites & Spectating

Start a game from any chat, let friends join with a card, code or QR, and never miss your turn.

Every conversation in mssgs has games built in. No downloads, no separate apps - the whole lobby happens inside your chat.

## Other ways to join

- **Room code** - every lobby has a 6-character code (like K7PQ2M ) you can share anywhere

- **QR code** - scan it with a phone camera to join from another device

- **Link** - the mssgs:// join link drops you straight into the room

## While you play

- **Floating game bar** - follows you through the app with "Your turn" reminders and one tap back into the action; run up to 5 games at once

- **Spectating** - public games can be watched live; a Watch button appears in the chat header

- **Turn timers** - per-turn countdowns keep things moving

- **Result cards** - the final board posts to the chat when the game ends, with a one-tap **rematch**
