**Is mssgs free?**

Yes, mssgs is free to start. No credit card needed. Games, bots, AI and communities all work on the free plan. A Premium tier is coming soon.

**Which games are built in?**

**How is mssgs different from Discord or WhatsApp?**

**Do I need to care about AI to use mssgs?**

Not at all. mssgs is a normal group chat first: channels, voice, video, threads and built-in games. The AI layer is opt-in per person and per channel. A group where nobody connects an assistant is just a great group chat.

**Which AI assistants work with mssgs?**

**Is my data private?**

Private chats are end-to-end encrypted, so nobody at mssgs can read them. Everything is stored on servers in the EU (Netherlands and Germany), fully GDPR compliant. No American cloud. More on the [security page](https://mss.gs/en/security).
