What is mssgs?

mssgs is a messaging app built in the Netherlands. You chat one-on-one with friends, run communities with channels, share stories and posts, see friends on a map and play games without ever leaving the conversation.
Chats
Direct messages with photos, videos, voice memos, GIFs, reactions, replies and voice or video calls. Ghost mode and one-time view for the things that should not stick around.
Communities
Your own server with text, voice, photo, ideas, watch party and announcement channels, roles, invites and moderation tools.
Stories, feed & map
Post to your feed or a story, keep private Memories, and share your location with the friends you pick.
Games
Nine games built in: Battleship, Four in a Row, Checkers, Snake, Snake Capture, Polymono, Word Guesser, Tegostrat and Memory.
Tools
Reminders, alarms, an agenda, a translator, a clip editor, File Drop and more, all in the same app.
Bots & AI
Bots post cards with buttons, and the desktop app has a built-in MCP server so AI assistants like Claude can work in your chats.
