Post. Get gifted. Get paid out.

People who like your posts can gift you credits with a comment. Those gifts are your creator earnings, and as a verified creator you can have them paid out to your bank account.

  • 1,500 credits make €1 when they are paid out
  • €150 is the smallest payout, or 225,000 credits
  • 60 days after a gift, it can be paid out

From a gift to your bank account

Four steps, and the Credits screen shows where you stand at every one of them.

  1. Post what you make

    Share your photos and videos from the iPhone or Android app.

  2. People gift credits with a comment

    Under your posts, people can add credits to their comment. Every gift counts towards your creator earnings, which Settings → Credits shows next to your own balance.

  3. After 60 days, it is payable

    A gift counts towards a payout 60 days after it was given. Until then, the Credits screen shows how much is still waiting.

  4. Request your payout

    From €150, fill in the account holder and your IBAN and request the payout. The credits leave your balance at once and come back if the request is rejected.

For verified creators

Payouts are for verified creators. Not there yet? Grow your following to gain creator access. Your creator earnings already show in Settings → Credits.

Only gifts on your posts count

Creator earnings are the credits people gift you with a comment on your posts. Tips in a tip jar, coin drops, badge rewards and credits you buy are yours to spend in mssgs, not to pay out.

Spent is spent

Your earnings are part of your balance, like any other credits. You can spend them, but what you spend can no longer be paid out.

One request at a time

Every request is listed as Requested, Paid or Rejected. A rejected one puts the credits back in your balance, with the reason when one is given. The next request opens once the last one is done.

Every badge pays out credits when you unlock it, for posts and stories, invites, games and more. Storyteller, for 100 public stories, pays 4,500.

What credits are for

Whatever reaches your balance, earned or bought, spends the same way.

Buy credits Packs from €10, paid once. Credits never expire.
  • Premium2,500 credits for a month, or 26,400 for a year. Nothing renews by itself.
  • Gifts and tipsGift a friend, add credits to a comment, or tip somebody’s jar.
  • Coin dropsDrop up to 100,000 credits, or a month of Premium, into a channel.
  • Emote showsPremium comes with 2 a week; every show after that is 800 credits.
  • More communitiesTwo communities are free and ten come with Premium. Each one after that is 750 credits a month.
  • Bot accountsPremium includes 2 bot accounts; each one after that is 2,500 credits, once.

Frequently asked questions

Who can have their earnings paid out?

Verified creators. Without verification your creator earnings still show in Settings → Credits, and growing your following is how you gain creator access.

What is a credit worth when it is paid out?

1,500 credits make €1. The smallest payout is €150, which is 225,000 credits of payable earnings.

When can a gift be paid out?

60 days after it was given. Until then the Credits screen shows it as still waiting.

Where do I request a payout?

In Settings → Credits, in the desktop app or the web app. Fill in the account holder and your IBAN, and request the payout from there.

Which bank accounts can be paid?

An account with an IBAN in the SEPA area. The app checks the IBAN as you type it, so a mistyped character is caught before anything is sent.

Do tips in a tip jar count as creator earnings?

No. A tip jar pays you credits to spend in mssgs. Only credits gifted with a comment on your posts count as creator earnings.

What happens if a request is rejected?

The credits go back to your balance, and the request in your list gives the reason when there is one. After that you can make a new one.
