Mau - How to Play

Our colour-matching card game for 2 to 4. Match colour or number, time your action cards and say Mau! on your last card.

Our own colour-matching card game for 2 to 4 players. Get rid of your cards first, and don't forget to say Mau!

Rules

1
Everyone gets seven cards. On your turn, play a card that matches the top card by colour or by value, or play a Wild. 30 seconds per turn.
2
No card that fits? Draw one. If it fits, you may play it straight away; otherwise your turn ends.
3
Skip: the next player misses a turn. Reverse: play changes direction (with two players it works like a Skip). +2 and Wild +4: the next player draws two or four cards and misses a turn. With a Wild you pick the colour.
4
Playing down to your last card? Say Mau! as you play it. If you forget, anyone can catch you until the next card is played or drawn, and you draw two.
5
The first player with an empty hand wins and scores the cards the others still hold: number cards their value, Skip, Reverse and +2 are worth 20 each, Wild cards 50.

2-4 players · turn-based · 108 cards · optional stacking: answer a +2 or a Wild +4 with another one. Full rules & play in your browser
