What happens after 5 years?
You can renew at the price at that time for another 5 years. You can also export all your data and stop. There is no lock-in.
Can I add more members later?
Yes, you can purchase additional member packages at any time. Each package of 10 extra members costs €85 and runs until the end of your current period.
How does support work?
We are a Dutch company based in Brummen. Support is via email and chat, in Dutch or English. Business-critical issues get priority.
How does the trial work?
You get 14 days full access to all features, with 10 members. No credit card required. After the trial you can choose to purchase or stop.
Can I export my data?
Yes, you can export all messages, files and metadata in standard formats (JSON, CSV). We believe in data portability.
Is there a refund policy?
Within 30 days of purchase you can get a full refund, no questions asked. After that, no refunds - hence the extended trial period.
Can I migrate from Slack?
We are working on an import tool for Slack exports. For now manual migration is needed, but we are happy to help.
Is mssgs GDPR compliant?
Yes, fully. All data is stored in the Netherlands on servers of a Dutch hosting provider. We offer a DPA (data processing agreement), have a privacy-by-design approach, and you can export or delete your data at any time. Messages are end-to-end encrypted and we cannot view the content.
Small community or hobby project?
For creators and small communities we have a Premium plan starting at €4.50/month.
