Chess - How to Play
Chess with every rule on a real 3D board: two minutes a move, against the computer or a friend.
Chess with every rule, for two players. White plays the cream pieces and moves first; black plays the midnight pieces.
Rules
1
Move one piece per turn. You have 2 minutes per move: if your time runs out, you forfeit.
2
Castling, en passant and promotion are all in: a pawn that reaches the last rank becomes a queen, rook, bishop or knight, your choice.
3
Put the king in check and your opponent has to get out of it. Checkmate wins.
4
Stalemate, threefold repetition, the fifty-move rule, too little material to mate and an agreed draw all end in a draw. Either player can resign or offer a draw at any time.
5
Everyone plays the Classic pieces on the Sage board. With Premium you pick one of seven more piece sets (Sticker Classics and six animal sets), and as host one of four more boards: Woodland, Midnight Observatory, Glacier or Coral Lagoon.
2 players · turn-based · against the computer or a friend. Full rules & play in your browser
