Creating Your Account
Sign up with just an email address - with a password, or completely passwordless via an emailed code.
All you need is an email address. You can register in the app or on the signup page.
Register in the app

Open mssgs and tap Register on the sign-in screen.

Enter your name and email address and choose a strong password.

Pick a username - this is how friends find you, and it gives you a public profile at
mss.gs/@username.Sign in without a password
Forgot your password - or just prefer not to use one? Choose email code on the sign-in screen. We email you a one-time code; entering it signs you in. No password reset needed.
Secure your account with 2FA
Once you are in, turn on two-factor authentication:

Go to Settings → Security.

Enable Two-factor authentication - via an authenticator app (TOTP), SMS or email.

Store your recovery codes somewhere safe.
Multiple accounts? mssgs has a built-in account switcher. Add a second account (work and private, for example) and switch without signing out.
