Ghost Mode & One-Time View
Conversations that leave no trace: messages that clear themselves, and media that opens exactly once.
Not every conversation needs to live forever. mssgs has two privacy tools for that.
Ghost mode
When ghost mode is on for a DM, messages disappear after everyone has read them and left the chat. Come back later and the slate is clean - nothing left behind. Toggle it per conversation from the chat bar: for one message, for this session, or until you turn it off. Both sides can see when it's active.
One-time view
Sending a photo or video that's meant for one look only?

Pick the photo or video as usual.

Choose Send as One-Time View.

The recipient can open it exactly once. After that, it's gone.
Fair warning: these tools protect your side of the conversation. The other person can always screenshot - share sensitive things with people you trust.
